I remember this one. UGA was cruising to the 1990 SEC regular season title. They traveled to LSU the last week of the season. LSU had to sweep them to win the SEC. LSU did. Yay! But UGA got the last laugh in Omaha.

I was a student and living in the crappiest dorms on campus that semester, which happened to be beyond left field bleachers. Was a fun weekend.

But it wasn't fun watching UGA come from nowhere that year and win it all after LSU had been knocking on the door with 4 CWS trips in 5 years. It was the SEC's first baseball title.

Then LSU finally got over the hump the next year.
