That's still $43 a person.
Wow
That's actually kind of cheap.
I've had to arrange catering for music shows I've put on in the past and it was much more than that.

Yeah they just get a better bus now. Whenever the cheerleaders fly now they are on the same plane as the band (Arkansas, Penn State, BCSCG, etc.). Oh and they stay at the team hotel on away trips while the band gets put in Holiday Inn style hotels.

Saban makes this every 4 days or so.

Hotel catering is easily twice the price. $20 meal is what they're having.

How much for the trailer to haul over Nick's ego?

At 3.5 mill a year (just guessing) this would be 4 hours (1/2 a day's salary)

Why doesn't Alabama keep their own Buses?

Was it the cheerleaders or the gymnastics squad that recently won a national championship, and the university refused to buy them rings for it?

Tupelo is what 66 miles from Starkville while Tuscaloosa is 82 miles from Starkville. That is only a 16 mile difference. Why even bother?

It takes 4 busses to carry 70 players and 10 coaches? So that's like 20 people per bus. Does everyone really need 5 or more seats to be comfortable?

Kinda wondered that too. Does the Bama team stay in a hotel before home games? I know LSU used to, but I don't know about now.

$7,500 for a pre-game meal? damn, what the hell are they eating?
Pre-game meal is a very hearty meal. It's eaten several hours before game time so I imagine it's quite a spread.

Tigers did when Nick was coach, so I assume he would do that at Alabama also.

Might be cheaper for the teams to look in to buying a house in Starkville instead.
Would have to be a big arse house to sleep 100+ comfortably.

even if you are talking about 150 people.....over $23,000 for food and snacks for two days is insane.....things like this need to be changed. Big programs treat this like it is the pro's when it is not. i know football brings in all the money but crap look at all the money they splurge on too.
