my question is how do you lose games with a kid that is well over a foot taller than everyone else.

I don't think OU will beat OSU.....OU has had some key injuries down the stretch and are not playing near as well as they were the first half of the season. I see OSU win this one going away

Saban is winning with the "Bear's" players.

Also, would it be unheard of for all the coaches in OSU's conference to vote them all the way up to #1 to try and help boost them ahead of Bama. That would give them 10 first place votes.

I guess if it benefits your team then you compare losses, but it makes more sense to compare what teams DID accomplish instead of what the teams did not accomplish. the one loss is a loss for both teams. However, that is not the only thing the one loss teams have in common. Would they not also have 11 wins in common.

So what he is saying is that if he couldn't score and lost 12 yards in 3 plays after starting at the 25 then he would have a better chance having to go the distance of the field. Time to change the medication coach cause it ain't working.

I really think that we will see 2 for a couple of reasons. Not only does it make it tougher to gameplan against 2 QB's but Miles also knows that at some point you are going to need that 2nd QB either due to the starter going down and missing a game or two or the starter being ineffective one game and needing the other guy to come in and provide the spark. Really feel that it is extremely beneficial to have 2 QB's that get regular in game action if you can continue to rotate successfully and keep everyone team oriented at the same time.

even if you are talking about 150 people.....over $23,000 for food and snacks for two days is insane.....things like this need to be changed. Big programs treat this like it is the pro's when it is not. i know football brings in all the money but crap look at all the money they splurge on too.

Love how since Bama missed very long field goals that it was their missed opportunities that lost the game. How about the fact that our D was good enough to not let Bama get close enough for a higher percentage FG try. Or the fact that as the "Best Coach Ever to walk the Earth" (according to the media)how about knowing the capabilities and limitations of your team and punt the ball and play for field position instead of playing scared. To me it looks like the only missed opportunities they had were missed opportunities for potential good field position thanks to their coach's decision. Also, what about LSU's missed opportunities. We missed the opportunity to score TD's when we got deep and had to settle for shorter FG's. We score touchdowns when we get down there and Bama's missed FG's wouldnt matter anyway. Bottom Line...best team won. Neither played perfect but if we had then we probably win by 10.

Can't really put a whole lot of stock in what these "experts" say. They obviously don't do their research half the time and just blurt out statements to tick people off. If this is the plan then I guess it works but I prefer people who know what they are talking about and this statement is ridiculous.

yeah this team has shown a real want to overcome adversity

And Auburn has been blown out by only two decent teams that they have played so what is your point

Great back and awesome attitude just think it would be irresponsible on coaches part to give him 40+ touches a game in the SEC. At some point you have to think about the kid's future. How many years are you taking off his NFL career down the road. What would people think if college baseball coaches let their ace consistently go 150+ pitches.....can't do it. And no it is not out of fear of SC cause we don't play them.
re: BCS Tickets in New Orleans - Question
Posted by tigerfan0710 on 9/21/11 at 8:07 am to Hat Tricks
Google ticket reserve....dont know actual sight...but yes you buy reserves for your team making particular game and if they make it you are guaranteed face value tickets for the number of reserves you buy. However, like previously mentioned, the reserve cost is on top of ticket value. Looked last week and cheapest reserves were $150 per ticket....reserve works on probability of team going....thus the longer we remain undefeated...the reserve amount will slowly get more expensive.
