No nuance.
Law is more philosophy than a hard science. Parts of it are nuanced and in some cases inherently contradictory. The *goal* when writing law is to be as objective as possible but law is subjective by nature. No two cases are the same.
Not that contradiction is always axiomatically bad. I think we can all agree that harming a vulnerable pregnant woman is worthy of extremely harsh treatment in the eyes of the law.
A woman taking Plan B or some other such drug and Blaise Taylor poisoning the pregnant mother of his child, and killing the child in the process, are definitely different and equating the two is a sign of silly, immature black and white thinking. Understanding and accepting the paradox is not a weakness. It’s maturity.
