If I were Tua, I’d rather be anywhere than Miami.

BLG seems very triggered. Sorry for upsetting you about a former bama player.

It seems as though Miami is setting him up for failure. His first game back and 5 starters are out including 3 starting receivers that played the week before?

Just goes to show you the mentality of the Miami organization.

That has nothing to do with him being a bust or not
Ben Simmons has also made more money than anyone posting on this board, he's also a bust and a disaster.

I liked Tua in college, I thought if the Saints would have been able to get and groom him behind Brees he'd have become a decade-long starter with a Super Bowl or 2.

I have no idea what's happened to him in Miami. It's like their staff has looked at his film from Bama, and actively avoids what he did well.
In contrast, you look at Cincy with Burrow and Chase, and they seem to be trying to do exactly what worked for those guys at LSU... and it's working.

Your Honor... I'd like to enter into evidence, exhibit A, the above quote. The guilty party claims their fans base never trolls.

It's pretty easy, actually.

First, no mentors - they dumped all the people that could help a rookie QB.
Second, no targets - aside from adding Waddle, not much of an upgrade. OL is still a mess, and running game is downright terrible. That means that you're stuck throwing the ball even in shortened field, near goal line situations.
Third, his most recent game he did pretty dang good despite all those things. 329 yards, 2 TD/1 INT, 95.1 rating, no sacks, 7 rushes for 22 yards.

Is he as good as Burrow? No, I'm not saying that at all. I will say, though, that Cincinnati has shown a much greater commitment to seeing their new QB succeed.

Tua will likely do better in a lot of places.

Dolphins are a horrible organization. They draft him #5 then leak all these trade rumors constantly. If I was Tua, I would want out as fast as possible.

Not sure for other posters, but I could care less about that. I wasn't bagging on Tua, I thought he was going to be consistently, monotonously good. At Bama it seemed like he threw mechanically perfect passes, just the right amount of touch, very accurate. He looked like a robot out there, and I mean that in a good way.

Other than his injury (which doesn't seem to have any physical long-term effect), I thought he was going to be a can't miss and upper-echelon guy for a long time.

I do think Miami is killing him, and I'd love to see him get out to somewhere he can be honed.

chattering about the Dolphins still looking at a possible trade to send tua to texas for Watson. Getting traded just your 3rd year in, for a player that has what, 30 something pending cases from various women... oofffff. New #1 NFL bust??

Why is any of this a knock on Tua? The Dolphins are a disaster, and if they want to bring in a trainwreck of a QB then that's on them. The Dolphins have fricked Tua from the start, plus they have a shitty roster. Tua is better off if he's traded.
