Taking NFL Players May Backfire

Time will tell but taking NFL players back into the college ranks may not be as beneficial as it might seem. Imagine the possible team chemistry implications of a team going through spring and fall practice together, not to mention the off the books work done between the two periods, only to have a mercenary or two step in late in the process and taking the spot of a team mate. There have been indications that the transfer portal had done just this to some teams....transferring to Auburn from the Falcons is exponentially more problematic - or could be. Team chemistry is a factor in sports, replacing a player who has done the work, is performing well but my not be quite as developed or physically able to perform as a player who just missed making an NFL roster could be a major issue for a team. Time will tell...

The way these rulings are being made retroactively, all it takes is one ruling that NFL players are ineligible and now you risk forfeiting games because you have ineligible players.

It’s 1 year, 1 season. Relax…
If you don’t like the way college football is moving.. this shouldn’t make the top 20 in shite we don’t like.

Luckily for UGA, Kirby isn’t nearly this soft.

This Aggie is 100000% right.
Of course we all know how stupid this whole situation is but the NCAA really screwed up on this one.
As Lane Kiffin said they're either going to play for you or they're going to play against you. But they're going to play. We'd obviously rather them play for us than against us.

Proves how desperate LSU is.

It's okay. They can't do it now.
