I don't see the problem. We have some money. Some other people are willing to work for some money. We agree on this and they do some work for us. Sorry some people can't do that.
We did the same thing at Bama last year. Every school has them.

Poors.
But really, you can't get that many games with that shite.. just invest in the satellite thing that finds the signal itself.

You really shouldn't be in a "What is YOUR set up for gameday" thread then. You should start a "Who goes to a tailgate others set up for them" thread.

A couple of tents, a couple of 42" TVs with satellite. Can Jam game (It's pretty fun if you haven't heard of it), Cornhole, and obviously plenty of booze.
Can I come to your tailgate for the LSU @ UF game??

They put the tents, chairs, and tables out and put tv on it. They do it primarily so we don't all have to go fight the crowds and congestion on our small campus on Friday night. We typically go out and eat with our friends who come to town for games and stay with us on Friday night. They are pretty much just getting the stuff to "our spot" so we don't have to fight it. We don't have the luxury of a lot of room and time like some other campuses. We do the "setting up" or whatever you want to call it the next morning when we get to our spot

I'm just busting your beans, bruh. I enjoy the trip to Oxford every other year but I've only done the Grove once. It was miserable. The rest of your campus is VASTLY underrated.

Oh I know
The grove and circle are awfully congested and you have to get your stuff out on Friday nights to get your spot now. I can see how it would be terrible if I was an opposing fan.
When I was a college kid I would do whatever I had to on Friday night for a spot.

We have a company that sets up the tents, tv, chairs, and generator for us.
Did this two years ago, the area around our tent was a little too family for our crew of young alumni, so we decided to set up our own again last year. Needless to say, we are going back to the paid for setup, it really is ridiculously convenient.

No kidding. Awfully impressive there

The Chimes. I usually head to some friend's tailgate by the stadium a couple of hours before the game.
I'm done with the 7+ hour tailgating scene. I enjoy The Chimes plethora of beer taps, good food, A/C, bathrooms, TV's with different games on, etc.
True but The Chimes gets packed. Still would prefer to be on campus if some friends are out there. I avoid drinking during the day for any other occasion, so something about being outdoors in the humidity completes it for me. Plus it really tickled me last time seeing all those underage kids with drinks in their hands walking around campus.

I'm pretty sure, as of last year, setup companies get to stake a claim in the Grove before the public, which sucks since it forces most people who've had an established spot for seasons to hire one of these companies in order to guarantee they'll have their location. I'm pretty sure it cut down on the number of incidents going down on Friday nights too though.
Otherwise, we have two tents near the J-school that have cold chicken tenders as far as the eye can see. I'm talkin' Chick-fil-a, Abner's, Zaxby's, Gus's, Popeye's, Cane's, and even cold chicken tenders from various local gas stations. No cold chicken tenders from KFC though, as the one in Oxford closed and turned into a Cookout. We've got cold dipping sauces too. Barbecue, honey mustard, ranches of every variety, sweet and sour, etc. Plenty of plastic china too. I stand under our chandelier, which resembles the Confederate Battle Flag (light bulbs as stars), eating cold chicken, and talking to other fans about how much we love cold chicken and disregard minorities. Then we go to our high school stadium to watch us win if we're cheating, or lose if we're clean. It's tradition.

There is an RV in Auburn, that has some very large side panels that flip up with a very extreme entertainment system similar to this and a pull out keg-orator/grill area. He also has a golf cart where the top area folds away and it fits underneath the RV in the hatch area

& you go inside for the game or just stay @ the "party" & watch tv?

In previous years we had a modular setup that was determined by the opponent and expected turnout.
For our biggest games we would typically have:
Dedicated tailgate trailer with refrigerator, trailer fully wired for power, satellite, video and audio.
4 10'x10' pop up tents
Astroturf under 1 tent
DirecTV with 3 boxes
47" Sony TV
2 32" Sony TVs
Sony 7.1 surround sound receiver
7 Polk Audio speakers
Monoprice 10" subwoofer
10 nylon web chairs for TV tent
18 folding metal chairs for eating tents
3 dining tables
3 cook tables
Bar table with blender and 2 speed rails for booze
Smoker
2 Weber grills
6 crock pots
2 Honda 2000w generators in parallel
10' swimming pool
8' swimming pool
2 Yeti 110 qt coolers
1 Igloo Marine 125 qt cooler
2 Igloo Marine 72 qt coolers
1 Igloo 48 qt cooler (clean ice)
Various games including slip and slide, cornhole, etc
US and Gator flags
Inflatable Albert
We had running water which allowed us to fill pools and slip and slide.
Took 6 peeps an hour to set up, and a little over an hour to take it down and pack it all up.
Longest tailgate was nearly 24 hours. I set it up mostly by myself as I had the smoker cooking a few brisket. Started setting up at 10pm, finished at 2am, and mostly stayed awake so I could monitor the cooker. Campus cops drove by all night long and never stopped to say word one. Had 45 or so people there for pre and post game activities.
For those in the know, this setup was directly in front of Lake Alice Field on Museum Rd.
Sold the entire thing this winter. After some graduations it was getting harder and harder to find enough dedicated people to get the thing up and running. Was a cast iron bitch in many ways but boy was it fun when it was up and running.
