And yet they still can't turn out grads who know as much as Aggies.

They also get a lion's share of the PUF money.

We are the largest university in the state, have a medical school in their own back yard.

And we have an Aggie Governor in charge.

tu's time has passed.

$19 billion >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $7 billion

You're baby brother. The sooner you can accept it and move on, the sooner you can join the rest of us in reality.

Our endowment is literally an order of magnitude larger than yours. We're the richest school in the SEC, and the most respected public institution.

shite we're not arguing that

Texas A&M =/= Vandy
Texas A&M =/= Georgia (first US public institution of higher learning)

Enjoy being baby brother in Tejas still. At least we're king of our own little world.

This is what it's come to for Ags. Get used to being our whipping boy. You seemed to enjoy it in the past. Embrace it.

Safe word is: Gigem.

Now pic?

Actually our endowment is $7 Billion and theirs is $17 Billion, so it is a $10 Billion difference. A&M still has more endowment money than it can spend. Hell A&M's endowment GREW more last year than Ole Miss's entire endowment which according to Wiki is only $470 Million. We are the largest in the SEC and 4th among all public schools. Within 5 years we will be 2nd behind Texas because the PUF fund is going to triple in size due to oil and mineral discoveries on the land continuing to increase.

A&M is older than Texas.
A&M is larger than Texas.
A&M is more politically powerful than Texas.
A&M is in a far better football conference than Texas.
Virtually every Texas tradition from their fight song to their mascot to their hand signal to their very name "Longhorns" is taken from Daddy A&M.

A&M is much higher academically ranked than Georgia, and has much more money, and more successful alumnus. I don't know what the frick you're talking about

Vandy is a fine school and fellow AAU member with an endowment less than half of A&M's size, which equates to far less value because they are a private school with no state funding as well.

UGA is a fine school but not an AAU member and with an endowment of around $1 Billion.

Florida is really the best comparable to A&M in the SEC in terms of size and academic reputation but even their endowment is less than $1.5 Billion.

Now quit the endowment academic smack talk before we decide to buy your school and make it into an annex for studying the manufacture of meth.

Then go back to TexAgs varsity. SECr is not for the faint of heart.

I wish Ags would not bring up endowments, AAU status, etc. Take that to the US News and World Report boards..

Weird thread is weird.

How bizarre.

Hey screw you I am a TexAgs Varsity member and I don't bitch about how the Ags act over here, until you have the idiots who feel they need to constantly apologize for a little trash talk.

That is one way to look at it, of course. Not sure that I buy your "far less value" argument though since the Aggie endowment has to support almost 5 times as many students as Vandy's. Endowment per student for Vandy is $265k versus $140k for TAMU. But, as you say, both are fine well-endowed institutions...
