Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M, South Carolina

I'll go first: true, although the lack of Lattimore would concern me for USCe.

False. They all COULD beat ND but their D is legit and they can beat any team in the country.

LSU would have to play very well on offense. Their defense is no slouch. And LSU has struggled against the spread at times this year.

I'm cant really speak to the others. I think Bama and UGA could handle them. Florida would have to play like I said LSU would have to, and I don't think A&M and USCe would do that well. JMO.

OK lemme ask the question in a more detailed way. Who you got, all else equal, just the teams and their coaches:

ND v Bama - ND gets blown out
ND v Georgia - Solid win for UGA
ND v Florida - Grind out win for UF in defensive battle, typical of Florida this year
ND v LSU - Close one, but Mett makes enough plays to win
ND v Texas A&M - JFF cracks ND
ND v South Carolina - no Lattimore, probable loss

No. Bama's D has shown they are not as dominate as everyone thought and ND has a very good D. Bama wins a close one.

ND would beat UF. I don't think the gators have near enough offense. Would be something like 17-7 or 17-10.

If the LSU team that played Bama showed up LSU would win, but that team only showed up in one game all season. ND would win with a similar score as UF.

Te'o is a beast and would be spying JFF all game. He would shut him down much like Minter and the LSU D did. ND would win this one.

No Lattimore ND rolls.

This is just my opinion but they are as good as any team in the SEC this year. They play SEC style football too. They match up VERY well to every team in the SEC on D.

Te'o could spy his little leprechaun heart out, but neither he nor that ND defense has seen anything as fast and elusive as JFF. ND would be sucking wind by the end of the game much like Bama was.

We've lost a ton of games without Lattimore, right?

Could? yes...Would? not likely.

I could only see UA, UGA, LSU beating them.

UGA would lose to ND.

So would SC probably, with or without Lattimore. Florida too.

Slow the frick down. You guys scored 20 in the first quarter. And NINE the rest of the game. Congrats to you for jumping on Bama early, but wearing Bama down isn't how you did it.

And to answer the question, The top 6 teams COULD beat ND. But, if they all played, they wouldn't all win.
