Assuming this is college only since it's just talking about SEC QBs. Not sure why people would care about NFL success in this but I'm sure some are factoring that in.
But yeah I voted Dak over Eli because their passing numbers are similar but Dak's rushing numbers are obviously way better, so Dak it was for me. It was slightly different eras, but still, I said in my post I dont really care what the climate at the time was like, Dak simply put up better numbers than Eli.

That's how I've been voting this whole time, basing off their college career (except my respect vote for Lorenzen, but I knew Peyton would in anyway)
OP just said "Best SEC QB" which to me implies best QB while they were in the SEC
Thats why it's a fricking joke that Bart Starr was a 1 seed. As a college QB he was awful even by the standards of his era
But to answer your question, I think Dak was a more dominant college QB than Eli and had more ability to take over a game and win on his own. I think Dak had more impact as an individual than Eli did in college

FTR, Bart Starr was injured and or otherwise didn’t play much during college whereas Tommy Hodson was a four time FIRST team all SEC selection who broke school and conference records. We are voting on COLLEGE careers, right? Bart Starr, an all timer in the NFL , barely even had a college career. He basically only played his sophomore season , threw 8 total touchdowns and Bama went 6-2-3. C’mon guys. Knock Hodson out next round if you want, but Starr should not have even been in this competition unless this is a all- name competition.
