Not as comical as that gimmick offense Bert ran.

No kidding! Beluga was playing "Normal American Football" and got skull dragged up and down the field trying to stop the AU rushing attack. AU only threw 9 passes?

I don't think I've ever seen a coach or university take such drastic measures to deceive the public over something as petty as faking an injury.

This is like a snowball rolling downhill. It certainly shines a light on what integrity is all about on the Plains of Auburn.

This lie being perpetrated on the public will not go away until Malzahn admits what we already know.

Just depends. It is hard to understand exactly what was going on. There was no effect on Arky by the ”injury”, so it is difficult to know whether it was a legit injury (seems unlikely), a coach instructed move, or a player thinking he was making a smart move on his own due to seeing late substitutions.

That's gold right there. Hopefully a reporter reads him that quote this week and asks him to comment.

....and having two opportunities from the one yard line and not sticking it in.

.....and having a QB that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a hand grenade.

......and not being able to stop one of the four running plays we ran all night long.

.........and we lost one of our best LB's for the entire fourth quarter.

Other than that, yeah your guys played decent.

Well if it was a coach or player move it was pathetic

If it was an injury (it wasnt) we would hear the typical outrage that we booed him

I feel bad for Robert Thomas, our senior DT who will never play another down for us after suffering a broken leg who just had surgery. He had to watch a perfectly healthy player fake an injury to take himself out of a game Thomas would've given anything to be a part of

To be fair, Arkansas isn't a pace team and was in a huddle when Swain mysteriously went down, so Gus'comment isn't really applicable here.

He complained about players faking injuries. How is one of his players faking an injury not applicable?

You can tell that Swain was trying to prevent the Hurry up offense by Ark. Too bad Ark was in a huddle with their hands on their hips when it happened, or the players could have complained.

there was only 2 seconds left in the quarter and both teams were substituting. Not like Arky was trying to HUNH or anything.

Barners, you guys do realise we have one of if not the shitiest FBS teams. At this point we know and accept it. We have done our emotional disconnect for the season.

Saying we suck or posting the score doesn't really bother us like you want it to.

On the other hand, your tigers are what...8-1. You are emotionally connected and high on the season.

This damages your team and coach and it rustles your jimmies.

After $cam gate, Auburns integrity is very questionable, and this does not help.

The fact you guys accept and relish it or deflect and flame doesn't help.

Just call a spade a spade and hold you school to high standards.

And yes 35-17. My team is shite. Spade is a spade.

Auburn seriously needs to just let this one go. Trying to explain it will only make things worse. You can't explain that.

2Bs should be happy as shite today. Everyone is talking about Swain's questionable injury instead of 2B's shittacular gameplan

I thought the gameplan was fine.

We hurt ourselves far worse than the Auburn defense did.

Two wide open touchdowns dropped/missed. Other trips into the red zone with no points. Turnovers.
