Not sure, but State castrated a bull and beat them in the last meeting so that’s all that counts.
ETA: not last meeting. But series tied 2-2

The difference with Texas is that their ego and perceived power isn't warranted here. It's some elitist mentality they have. If they were in the SEC, they would learn their role pretty quickly, much like A&M has.

went 2-0 against the Home and Home we played against Texas in the early 90's. 2-2 all time.

In fairness, they are averaging 6 losses a year since 2010, so I think they should have learned their role in the Big 12. Slow Learner U.
