I root against Vandy most every week. They are probably our biggest rival in baseball currently. The teams really get after it in the series. Corbin and Sully coached together for 4 years as assistants under Leggett at Clemson.

LSU’s SEC schedule was extremely frontloaded so I’m expecting we will come back in the standings a little bit but that’s a nice lead for Vandy

Arkansas is either 1 or 2 with their pitching trending upward. LSU is either 1 or 2 with their pitching trending downward.
Vandy is probably 3 over Florida and South Carolina is a distant 5th of that bunch.

I wasn’t clicking my heels about where we stand, just surprised we got this high with the way the east was doing so far. But I guess the cannibalism has begun so things can look much different on the back end of the season.
Should be interesting.
