I think Sumrall is a good coach and will do well there. It’s unfair and frankly ignorant for Gator fans to compare him to Napier. Sumrall has more respect among his peers than Napier did while at ULL.

We shall see. I wanted Kiffin, but didn't think we would hire him, and didn't really worry about who we hired because I thought we would frick it up.
After reading a little about Sumrall and watching his presser, he seems like a good fit for us. So I am pleasantly pleased with the way everything turned out. Time will tell.

People would say it's ridiculous to say that now and it is. But nowhere near a zero chance that it turns out to be true.

Kiffin a much better hire but who knows how long he’ll stick around that’s his unknown factor
Sumrall if he pans out could end up being a good hire for the the longterm and doesn’t seem like a total Disney hire
