It's all speculation but if you want to go for conspiracy theories this makes more sense. It makes no sense for the Sumlin´s to fake something like that, based solely on economics.

Let's take a quick look at Sumlin's tenure at A&M.
Since Manziel left, A&M has never beaten Alabama or come within 3 scores. - Loss #2
The road team has won every game in the A&M/Auburn series - Loss #3
Sumlin is winless against Ole Miss since Manziel. In fact, Johnny singlehandedly won the 2012 and 2013 games - Loss #4
Sumlin is winless vs. LSU - Loss #5
John Chavis can't stop dual-threat quarterbacks. Nick Fitzgerald shredded his defense last year - Loss #6
That's a 6-6 record assuming he runs the table against Arkansas, South Carolina, and Florida. Out of those three, the only one that doesn't have a quarterback who is more than capable of putting up Heisman numbers against A&M is Florida.

I wonder what this board's reaction would be if Tim Tebow posted a pic of a letter calling him a dumbass christian. Somehow I doubt we'd have as many handwriting analysts and USPS experts all up in this thread.

First of all if it's Tim he probably would have prayed for the writer then he would trash the letter and go about his day and as far as the letter itself its not the race of Sumlin that has raised suspicion, its the fact its a weirdly written letter.
