Kind of a wash, but I guess Florida gets the slight edge for having beaches.

It took sustained success over a long period of time to build up the interest and following that LSU baseball now commands.

Not exactly. By the early 90's, LSU co-owned Omaha (along with Texas). That's less than ten years after Skip got there. Sully has been at Florida, what 15 years?? If it hasn't happened yet, its not going to.

UF will have to demonstrate sustained success for a longer period of time

How much longer do they need? They've made Omaha 7/9 years from 2010-2018, also in 05 (runner up) and 23 (runner up), champs in 2017 and runner up to SCar in 2011

That's 9 appearances in 18 years with making the finals 4 times. How much more sustained can you be? No one's winning it all 5/10 years like Bertman again in today's landscape but making it 50% of the time, especially in that decade I alluded to earlier where they seemed to be there every year. I mean what more do fans need to support it?

And that’s the exact reason why JJ will win more national championships. Florida fans should except mediocrity

"More options"? La. is known nationwide as The Sportsmans Paradice. Fla. is known for.....beaches? As in lying in the sun on white sand?

Most programs would give their left testicle for that kind of success.

Skip came at the perfect time. The football team was trending downward and LSU fans were looking for something to get behind. He gave it to us in spades.

I really think it pisses him off Florida fans don’t support the baseball program more.

It should. They have an amazing program that deserves more support.
