Toney was melting a bit, I was engaging in dialogue about why Bama lags behind in baseball. I understand that engaging in logic and dialogue has become frowned upon on the rant, but try to distinguish it from melting if you want to sound intelligent.

The saddest part about your melt is you made all of this up.
TOPS is an advantage for LSU but it isn't a huge one, it only gives LSU baseball a few "extra" scholarships - Mainieri estimated about 2 and those funds can only be distributed to Louisiana kids.
However, scholarship excuses are useless now that NIL is a thing.
Sounds like Bammers aren't funding the program.

Yep. The funniest thing is they learn a couple players names and even the head coaches name towards the end of the season and pretend to have been lifelong fans.

First, the scholarship numbers set by the NCAA apply to all teams. So if somehow your team is playing with less scholarship players you either got caught doing something very wrong or the staff is incompetent.
Second, we did beat the Gumps with less than 85 scholarship players after returning only 39 from the previous year due to the incompetence of the previous staff.
In either case, we beat you if football and now in baseball....don't whine.
