So why did they go through a coaching change?

UGA is one of those schools

So 7 times in the last 17 seasons we've finished #22 or lower or even outside the Top 25

LSU has done this only 4 times in 18 years

LSU on the other hand is not seeing ups and downs

I also know this, we've been much more consistent than anyone else

LSU's current state is far different than where your program was at under Saban and Miles. Far different.

possibly. Kirby went 8-5 and unranked his first season. Orgeron went 9-4 and finished #18.

Difference is LSU has much less reason to expect a great season the next year. Your future ain't as bright

It's not just 1 runner-up finish.

It's a Top 5 finish in 2012
It's a Top 10 finish in 2014
It's a top 2 finish in 2017

The talent has been there for years... now we seemingly have the coach to go along with it, not to mention he's got the #1 recruiting class coming in next year and is projected in just about every Preseason Top 4.

LSU hasn't had a Top 10 finish in 6 seasons.
LSU doesn't currently have a Top 10 recruiting class.
LSU likely won't finish in the Top 25 next season.

Are you saying you'd rather be in LSU's current position than Georgia's?

why is that? why did UGA have any reason to expect what happened this year after last season?

Because lsu lost so much talent from their year 1 team and uga didn't. Not sure why you would think the future is bright for lsu with how y'all have been and have recruited.

National championships this century:

Florida: 2
LSU: 2
Georgia: 0

Try harder.

I like how the goal posts move for each program.

Typical Georgia fan.

With how they've recruited? You realize very few players from the 2018 class are going to be big contributors right? And you know LSU has also been recruiting very well prior right? And you know LSU will have a very good defense next year right?

FSU hired another ace recruiter though so it is still gonna be rough to beat them for the elite kids.

Possibly, but not sure I'd call him an "ace" at this point. He had a solid class going at Oregon, but his recruiting at USF was nothing special. His last full class was 5th in the AAC.

Yes. Why would you be confident in lsu going forward into 2018?

Outside of 2018, LSU and UGA recruiting have been near identical. YOU made the claim "based on recruiting".

Tell you what, I'll sig bet you that Ensminger has a better offensive showing against you guys next year than 75% of the teams you play in the regular season.

But they will after signing day. 5* Surtain + 3 more high 4*s are coming to Tigerland.

Florida has the most proven staff of the three. So seems the most likely. LSU has the most talent, but worst staff. Tenn has a good staff but least talent of the three.

1. Florida
2. LSU
3. Tenn

UF is a ways away. Like 2 full top5 recruiting cycles, and a stud QB away. I’m not sure if Mullen can recruit well enough to get us where we need to be quite honestly. He should get us more competitive then the last guy though.

Did he not just recruit a stud QB...and one of the best DB's at the UAA game? You questioning his recruiting is baffling. No one recruits well at Miss State. So far at Florida he has done a great job. Including landing two very good transfers which, well is recruiting. If you count the rankings of Grimes and Jefferson. He has landed 3 top 100 players so far alone. We are favored for a few more. That's a pretty strong start so maybe you should lay off the he can't recruit, and let him do it. Miss State is not Florida. Classes will be much better.

Maybe they have been near identical. That was only the 2nd part of my claim FYI.
