Looks like the Sling Orange package (sports&news) is only 35/month. youtube and hulu are +/-65/month.

It's $35 a month. Then an extra $11 if you want to get the sports package that includes the SEC Network and SEC Network+. Then an extra $5 for DVR. So it was pushing $55 after tax by the time the add-ons were included. All of that came standard with Youtube TV plus way more channels.

Tried both Hulu and YouTube TV. Can't go wrong with either, but I'm sticking with YT.

Also if you watch NFL, it's the only service I'm aware of that has RedZone which used to be exclusive to DirectTV I think.

Main Gripes: no Bally sports,
So I have been using Direct TV Stream just because it has Ballys. It also has the ESPNs, ACC, SEC, and B1G network.

My only real complaint is that CBSSN is only offered in the package above mine, so I didn't get to see Vandy play like pre-WW2 Vandy on Saturday night.

YouTubeTV has the fewest buffering issues, which is not surprising I'm sure they have the best infrastructure.

I liked sling and the price but the stream would go to shite several times a game and not catch up.

YouTubeTV is pricy though I have the 4k option and it's like $80, creeping into cable TV territory with what I spend to get internet.

The only thing I want is the sports channels, I figure Disney has to be thinking about an ESPN or sports only streaming service.

I signed up for the NBA plus package and still couldn't watch Hawks games, even road games.

Blackouts are ridiculous. I can’t pay MLB.tv to watch Braves games because I live in their viewing region. I did use NHL tv for Lightning games (would be blackout if they played the Preds). I’m glad ESPN picked up most the Regional NHL games so I can go with ESPN+. Much cheaper.

The Braves deal with Sinclair is at best meh and could be much better in regards to streaming. The Bally app on Android/Kindle isn't great but works much better on iOS and can only be used if you have Ballys in your cable package, which defeats the purpose of cutting the cord.

Current Braves deal with Ballys runs through 2027.

I have YouTube TV also and thought about trying Hulu again because of their picture quality, but it seems like I remember some weird thing where you'd be watching a game, rewind back a bit, and then be forced to watch an entire commercial before you could catch back up to live.

Am I crazy, or is that something that Hulu did/still does?

I like Sling because I can pause the service and restart when I desire. I only use it during football season and to watch the spring games

I ended up cancelling the 4K plan($20) since there were only 1-2 games a week in 4k, and they were Fox/B1G games and not SEC. Has it improved any?

/I'm looking at Youtube TV now and it includes the SEC Network and no contract. Looks like the best option for $64.99/m

This thread is perfectly timed. The wife and I want to cancel AT&T uverse. We want local channels, espn, and sec network. Does Hulu have these or should we go YouTube?

Obviously, the Longhorn Network will be priority #1 for you (like everyone on this board) so sling should be your choice.
