I know, I know, offseason thread.

We're getting closer to football.

But the MSB thray regarding the "Mount Rushmore" of athletes for certain cities got me thinking. Who is on the Mount Rushmore of only athletes for your school?

For Ole Miss, it's:
Archie
Eli
Tim Elko
Marshall Hendo tGOAT

Hard to say for AU. Maybe...

Bo
Barkley
Big Hurt
not sure who gets last spot. If other sports, then maybe Rowdy Gaines. If going multiple for football, then Cam I would guess.

Herschel obviously
Frank Sinkwich
Probably dominique just so it's not exclusively football

Last spot is tough. I think guys like Charley Trippi, David Pollack, nick Chubb, and stetson could all make varying degrees of valid arguments.

Wow. I get Shaq getting the nod, but it would be hard to leave Maravich and Pettit off.

limiting 130+ years of multiple sports being played to just 4 guys is generally going to leave out superstars. I found it hard leaving any of the 8 total players I listed off.

**edit**
I'd have to place Von Miller or Mike Evans above Elmendorf. Can't believe I forgot about Mike Evans

If pro production matters, Emmitt would be #4. If not, then I guess Noah he was the heart and soul of our back to back teams.

Al Wilson, Johnny Majors, Peyton Manning, Hendon Hooker. I honestly can’t think of another UT QB that lit up Florida and Bama like that in the same season
