he said "callin' baton rouge" is great because of the geographical aspect, but LSU prefers another song that they can't sing that often. he doesn't mention it, but we all know what it is.

I stand by Grove Street Party as our officially unofficial anthem.

There's no bigger LSU fan and Alumnus than me, but "Callin Baton Rouge" makes me

It's old and worn out as hell. Time to lose it.

Let "The Golden Band from Tiger Land" and those "Famous 4 Notes" be the entire focus of Pre-Game.

Maybe open up the 2nd Half with CBR for those that like it.....

Callin Baton Rouge is Garth Brooks, our alumni.

Another reason we’re an SEC fit.

Should be as many times as it was played in Death Valley. After half time wasn’t many LSU fans there to hear it.

40-13!!!!!

You're more of a fit than some of the schools that have been mentioned here, like UNC, UVA and GT.

Georgia Tech was in the SEC from 1933-1963. They have more rights to join the SEC as anyone currently outside it.

The original member schools of the Southeastern Conference, which began play in 1933, were Alabama, Auburn (then Alabama Polytechnic Institute), Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisiana State, Mississippi, Mississippi State (then Mississippi A&M), Sewanee, Tennessee, Tulane and Vanderbilt.

I all for going back to the way it orginally was. We can add South Carolina to replace Sewanee since Sewanee isn’t an option.

It truly is amazing how much they still obsess over that. But I guess when you fell to the depths they had, a regular season game is big shite.

We did that with Florida in 1997 also. Then we became an actual championship program and it faded to just being a fond memory.

The key difference is 1997 Florida was the #1 ranked defending National Champs. 2022 LSU was a depleted roster coming off Coach O destroying the program.

But hey, congrats on the win Vols!

Sandstorm as a song is totally overrated. It's only up there because the crowd at SC goes wild when it plays. Mid tier as an actual song though.

GT is a dead athletic program that attracts very few viewers. Oklahoma State attracts many more. In 2022 they were ranked #24 with an average of 1.68 million viewers per football game. The networks are driving this and that is what they care about.

Yep. I hate UT like any good American but it's a great song for them.
