If it was chest to shoulder how did he knock himself out?
I don't know what happened to him medically. But as far as the Miami defender goes, I see his head is up and he's not leading with the crown, he didn't leave his feet and the brunt of the force seems to be his chest hitting the shoulder of the A&M player.
I just don't see the "indicators" for targeting.
This is the closest I could find in terms of helmet to helmet contact. Head up, feet on the ground and the chest to shoulder contact has already started.
That's perfect defense IMO. Wasn't even early with the contact or anything to draw a DPI either. That's one for showing people the right way to do it.

Usually teams can luck their way into at least one TD.. I mean damn.

I would have to see more shots in sequence to be sure, but yeah, based on that, I think you’re right.
I’m kinda glad the refs didn’t get involved, at the end of the day. Let them play.

I’m glad they let them play down around the goal line in a crucial moment of a playoff game. The defender was there and made a good football play. It’s such a bitch move to clamor for targeting call to bail you out.

All I know is #1 for Miami wasn’t conscious from the time of the hit until a few seconds after he landed.

Score more then 3 points at home. BAS strikes again.

Looks like a clean hit from every angle.
That didn't decide the game tho aggy...still had it on the goallline on the next snap

his head was straight up, he hit him with his face. WTF you want him to do

So Ohio state sucks too?

Defenseless receiver. Doesn’t have to hit him with his crown for it to be targeting.

that would have required launching. Didn't see that either.
apparently the refs and most of the rest of us saw it differently .
I'm sure your unbiased opinion is the correct one though

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the OSU QB was about as mobile as a dead body. That played right into our defensive scheme. Miami ain’t going to have that luxury against Ole Miss

Launching is nowhere in the rule book. It requires forcible contact, which that very obviously was. Dude knocked himself out.
I think most people know it was targeting. Rantards just don’t want to admit it.

Miami's ballin' right now. You took out an SEC team A&M and Big 10 Ohio State. Ole Miss has taken out lowly Tulane and a soft Georgia who they went 1-1 on the year with. I like your chances.

Nope. It’s close but the helmets never touched

To be fair those offenses don’t really exist anymore. 3 yards and a cloud of dust went the way of the wishbone

I was expecting to see way worse. The hit looked clean, then account for the context of the call. Good no call imo.

Not sure how you got that out of aggys sucking? Yall couldn't even score a touchdown at home.
