I am too young to remember his time as a Gator coach. So I personally will always remember him as a SC Coach.

Can you believe that in 2012 he will be entering his 8th season at USC? Hell, he was only at UF for 10 years I believe...

He won a Heisman Trophy as a player and several SEC titles and a national title as a coach.

He'll always be a Gator first.

But the rest of us are glad he's at Carolina. The 90s were brutal.

So anyone who wins a MNC at Carolina must be so frigging awesome they surely must be the greatest coach of all time.

Makes perfect sense to me.

The 1996 Auburn UF game is the epitome of SOS football for me as an Auburn fan. It has to be one of Auburns worst losses in the last 20 yrs.

SC is still nationally irrelevant with him as coach.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've read all day. We won 11 games and finished 6th or 7th in the polls.

UF Baseball was irrelevant last year, by that logic.

Dude UF played in the National Championship series last year, as I'm sure you know. Bad example.

Better example would be Vanderbilt baseball.

He got SC in hot water with the NCAA and Lou Holtz didn't.

We were the better team. Was it our fault yall won about 12 of those 17 or however many it is out of the past 2 decades? Nah

This is awesome considering how many times you've stated that you were better than SC last year.

Given he won the Heisman at Florida, then coach them to 6 SEC Championships in 12 yrs, won a National Championship while and did it all while collectedly skull dragging the SEC....

......he will always be a Duke Blue Devil!!!
