The leading receiver yesterday was a 2 star/3 star wide receiver who was told by a bad Tennessee team that he was too small to play in the SEC.

Honestly.

Is any fanbase more tone deaf than the Vol6?

UGA fans weren’t the last, look how many still doubt him. No one knew it all along, except him.

Carson Beck is next in line for next year and seems to be Stetson with better arm talent.

Carson doesn't have stetson's wheels.
Stetson's legs are special (Quick acceleration and plus top end speed).

But Carson is about 4 or 5 inches taller and able to do more within the pocket over the OL/DL.

Broderick Jones too.

I still think Beck is better. Stetson plays big when he needs too more often than not but his ceiling is lower. Just a fact and there is a reason he was a walk on

Beck isn't immobile though. He's got 11 career rushes for 55 yards (to go with his 53 pass attempts). He's not DJ Shockley but he's not David Greene either. He's got Stafford mobility or better.

Hooker will actually get drafted and will finish higher in the Heisman rankings. Stetson will NOT

In fact, take Bowers away and UGA's offense ain't shite. Never mind your all world oline and backs on top of that.

Wrong. Go back to the preseason threads.

Most Georgia fans liked Stetson after his 2020 season *until he got hurt in the Alabama game). They simply thought JT Daniel would be great. Unfortunately injuries kept JT from producing in 2021 and Stetson led us to a National Championship. Some sidewalk fans still want Beck in the game but Stet has the team on his side.

Who is saying they knew it all along? Can you quote anyone on that?

How about maybe it’s just defending him now after we’ve seen him prove himself?

We got ignorant schleps here claiming he’s surrounded by 5-stars and would therefore suck if he were on a lesser team.

Other than Darnell Washington and Broderick Jones, there’s no other 5-stars on offense. In fact, the bulk of our offensive starters weren’t even ranked top-5 in their position coming out of high school when they committed.

McConkey, our current leading receiver, was a 2-star.

Edwards, our leading rusher, was the 279th player coming out of high school in 2020.

McIntosh was the 187th and a low 4-star.

Bowers was 3/105, a mid tier 4-star not even in the top-100.

AD Mitchell was the 383rd player coming out of high school.

Dillon Bell was the 452nd player.

Truss 19/217 low 4.
McClendon 20/224 low 4.
Ratledge 3/38 high 4.
Rosemy JS 8/55 mid-4.
Arian Smith 9/59 mid-4.
Milton 7/54 mid-4.
Van Pran 1/60 mid-4.
Blaske and Willock were 3-stars outside the top-600.

Hell, one could say Stetson isn’t even “surrounded” by 4-stars, much less 5-stars.

And the kicker to this whole thing is the defense isn’t much different.

Three 5-star starters, one of which is a true freshman, and just about everybody else is a low 4-star or even a 3.

4 of our DL’s weren’t even top-200 high school players.

And Javon Bullard, you know, the DB with 8 tackles, 2 PB’s, and 2 sacks yesterday, was barely a 3-star (634th player in 2021).

Some of y’all are so damn ignorant. Maybe, just maybe, Stetson is actually developed into a damn good football player who’s used all the hate and lack of confidence in him as fuel to get there.

Brock Bowers against UT - 27 yards receiving, 7 yards rushing, 0 TD.

You did take away Bowers. UGA still won easily. McConkey had 94 yards and a TD on 5 catches.
Kenny McIntosh had 57 yards on 2 catches and 52 yards rushing on 10 attempts.
Arian Smith had 1 for 52 yards.

You can keep thinking UGA doesn't have options other than Bowers. Your coaches thought that as well and schemed to take UGA's TE's (Bowers and Washington out of the game while clogging the middle of the field against the run). UGA just ran more outside the tackles and threw passes to WR's on the edges and owned UT.

The reality is the only way to stop UGA's defense is to win the one on one matchups. There is no scheme that works because UGA is comfortable in the shotgun, spread under center and I formation/pro-style... and they're comfortable throwing to targets over the middle and to the outside, both short and long... and running interior rush attempts and stretching teams to the outside (or going power sweep to the outside).

We're not a one dimensional scheme on offense. We're not tied to one player doing well.

What Gunslinger, overlooked, questioned beyond belief, pressed, torn apart, judged, ridiculed, and slighted QB; by his own fan base much less nationally.. that all he does is win.. does not have a chip on his shoulder and become a little jaded and smart arse.. you see arrogance, I see confidence… and he has to have it ; because outside of some fans and his team no one else does!

SB13-
Bama- 1-2 with a natty
UF- 2-1
UT- 3-0
AU- 3-0
USC- 2-0
GT- 1-0 about to be 2-0
Michigan 1-0
Oregon 1-0
Vs
Bryce Young- 1-1 with a natty
Hooker- 2-0
Levis- 1-0, about to be 2-0
Nix- 3-0
Rattler- 1-0
AR15- 2-0

The only QBs to beat him are Young and bamas out . and Mac Jones in the NFL and Kyle Trask who’s in the NFL and stet played injured that game..

I’ll take my QB any day over yours!

No one knew Hooker at Va Tech, what’s your point?

Joey B couldn’t start at OSU!

Bryce Young wouldn’t win at Vandy.

What the hell. Idiot!

Is he as good of a scrambler as Bryce young? Because I don’t think I can handle as many TFLs that turn into 5-10 yard gains as the Bama game.

He’s a good football player. Kirby should have played Justin Fields over Jake Fromm.
