The below is a graph of all FBS teams 2012- present (B1G teams are represented by their logos) for all games played. Michigan is towards the top right – in the “we’re getting screwed” category. The only team that has fared worse is Alabama. A lot worse. Since 2012, Alabama has drawn a holding once every 260 plays. That is nearly 2.5 times the average.

Jokes on you the refs plan it this way so they can point to this as proof Alabama is getting screwed. Then, when they can make a game changing call for Bammer, they do it!

It's genius. Took years of planning and lots of REC dollars on consultant studies to find just the right balance.

Maybe we can get LSU fans to put up a billboard about this. They just want the officials to be fair.

Arent there about 50-70 plays on offense a game? So in roughly every 4-5 games they get one holding call and that is 2.5 times the average? something seems off with this math

If 260 is nearly 2.5 times average, then average is near 100. So most defenses would tend to draw 2 offensive holding calls per 3 games. Bama tends to draw 1 per 4 games.

This is holding calls against the opposing offensive line facing Alabama's DL.

In other words, the most dominant DL in the nation over this span inexplicably draws far, far fewer holding calls against opposing OLs than anyone else.

It was posted here in the off season and LSU fans either tried to dismiss it while others thought it was saying the opposite of what it’s showing.

This proves exactly the opposite. That means they get called the LEAST amount of times BY FAR then any other team in the FBS. Thank you for proving what we all already knew. My guess is that poor dot between 40 to 60 is LSU.

I'm not going to argue the accuracy of that chart, but they called a weak arse hold on Auburn's long TD run that was called back at the beginning of the Iron Bowl.

It's literally about holding calls on opposing teams.

The ONE time Clemson beat us we got bent over and abused by the officials. They ran 100 plays on offense and not one single penalty against one of the best defenses Bama has put on the field. One Hundred Plays.

Their receivers blatantly pushed off the entire time they won the game on a clear pick play and they got close enough to win it on a ticky tack personal foul call against us.

Santa Claus was wearing putrid Orange that night.
