Because the SEC does not normally strong arm members into submission. You catch more flies with honey bud. Probably some scheduling concessions. My guess a guarantee they do not play Texas every year and keep the Thanksgiving game with LSU. That is a marquee matchup the Aggies have enjoyed since joining.

I agree, very likely. If the SEC network is floating the pod concept, the scheduling will move to pods. SEC Network did not pull that out of thin air.
