Goes out as the 3 seed and throws their No. 6 pitcher against an overrated 2 seed and wins 11-2.

That game was pure SEC > mid major dominance the way it should be.

Be a lot happier with a win against FS. Tourney is a long haul with so-so pitching.

Lots of baseball left to played this weekend but things are setting up nicely for us to host a super.

I don't like this and it was sketchy there at first. Totally sucked at Hoover. Lose your first and saving your one and two might not matter. I hate it when coaches try to out coach themselves.

I actually agree with this take. They were impressive and took care of business. Big marble game for them tonight.

It’s an interim coach playing with house money. I don’t mind the gamble in this scenario

Apparently they saw something in the film that Northeastern didn't hit well against pitchers that hammered the bottom of the zone.

It was a gamble, but they also thought their 11-0, 1.92 ERA pitcher was not as good as advertised. We torched him for 7 and chased him after 2 2/3. The reliever they put in was a good pitcher who held us at bay for 4 innings.

The rumors are that we’ve lost our ace, Pico, due to shoulder problems. It looks like Parker made a bit of a forced gamble to start Davis. It worked out for one game but a huge blow going forward.

You got to go against the best pitcher in the country today. If you win, you are setup nicely. If you lose, you have a puncher's chance to come back through and win two.

Florida State threw their No. 2 against Bethune Cookman and will throw their ace today. After those two, their pitching is awful. We could end up in a situation where we are throwing our No. 2 against their No. 3 and our No. 3 against their No. 4 even coming out of the loser's bracket.

Northeastern’s coach is Tom Glavine’s brother for those who may not know.

If it’s true that Pico is injured I imagine we throw Siary today. He has been on fire lately so could be a pitchers dual today

I hope the rumors aren’t true about Pico

Wish our coach was bold enough to do this. We threw a 1st rounder vs RPI #243
