The rumors are that we’ve lost our ace, Pico, due to shoulder problems. It looks like Parker made a bit of a forced gamble to start Davis. It worked out for one game but a huge blow going forward.

The $400 thousand + you mention being paid out dismisses the fact that $20,000 contributed by employee and employer would be worth over $2.2 million dollars based on a low return of 6% and 35 years at mas SS paid out. Thats just one person, not to mention if the wife works and would be able to manage their own retirement portion of SS.

They’re not even trying to hide it anymore. Most of the money we put into “social security” along with the amount our employers pays into our accounts will never be realized in our lifetime.

Headed there next weekend for the holiday my family and looking forward to eating some seafood, steak, Italian and Asian. Trying to avoid the Casino buffets and greasy seafood joints. I assume there are lots of South La folks and Miss gents that know the ropes.

Also, go back to R 22 for refrigerant. The cost has more than tripled in 6 years for a 3.5 ton Trane unit. I am told it’s due to EPA constantly banning refrigerants in favor of something “less” harmful to the environment.

This dude is claiming to have “timed” the market perfectly. He sold in Jan/Feb and had big reserves to buy after the dip. The thing is, not even Warren Buffet could time the market. Let’s see the receipts for buys and sells over the last 5 years! ??

It’s way past time for some people to learn the survival skills the rest of us started figuring out as teenagers. We learned that we had to work, keep a job, pay our bills and not commit crime so we could one day be members of a society that rewards those survival skills. Some demographics have to learn the hard way.
