Inarguably, Florida has the better coach as compared to State. State thought Moorhead would be, at a minimum, equal to Mullen. Not close. State is heading down towards Arkansas level badness soon.

Not saying this statement isn’t true but have you really taken a look at Kirby Smart? He really is a goofy fricker.

The myth of Mississippi State baseball continues to haunt us.

Sure, we're in the top half of the league, but our fans think we are the Alabama of college baseball.

It would be sweet justice for Vic Schafer to win the school's first national championship in women's basketball, considering how we treated women's sports for the majority of our existence.

I don’t think our fans think of us as the Alabama of baseball. Why are you so negative?
Baseball has certainly had a lot of success dating back many decades.
For the most part Women sports have been a part of the scene within the last 40 years or so. What Coach Schaefer has done is amazing but why would it be sweet justice if the ladies won our first NC. I think it would be awesome but would it really matter?

Some of our own fans our own worst enemies. Moorhead was a good hire and will continue to be a good coach. Has he made mistakes? Yes. Do I wish we had been 10-3 last year? Yes. Am I frustrated now? Yes. But not to the point of completely gutting the program and returning to 2004. We are light years better now than then but if you all continue with your unrealistic expectations and this microwave mentality, that is where will be soon enough.

Your school was a laughing stock until Mullen. Now? Right back to it. What he did is mind blowing with what he walked into.

You're trying too hard. Nobody claims State has a prolific football history, but you're too eager to proclaim Mullen as the savior. Mullen benefited from the start of the 12 game season and the extra OOC patsy. He was competent, not great. He had a good developmental approach to the program and invested in S&C. He was pretty good at game planning. He sucked when he had to deviate from the plan, and his playcalling was usually predictable. He also sucks as a recruiter. To top it all off, he's a habitual liar and world class prick.

If you gotta look at history, Florida's wasn't so pretty for a long time, either.

Where did I say this was a common theme? I said for State. The players decided to have a tutor do the work for them instead of doing it themselves. They cheated, individually, and the team is suffering because of it. I have no sympathy at all for anyone that tries to take shortcuts and cheats instead of putting in the work. Like I said earlier, I wish they had been cut from the team.

I guess so. I’ll just post a bunch of neat tidbits about the university and maybe it’ll boost my intellect.

I'll bet Morehead wishes he could be fired so he can go anywhere but Starkville. That's gotta be one of the more depressing places to live and work in the country.

He could be in Baton Rouge, where the morning news always includes the previous night's murders and violent crimes.

At the end of the day, we can beat OM and go bowling. 6-6, 3-5 with some momentum for next year. Could be worse.

No it could not. Many in your program will celebrate the bowl appearance while Joe reels in the 9th ranked recruiting class in the SEC only being saved because Ole Miss is suckier.

That will get you 12 more months of him and another shitty recruiting class. This will take a great hire until 2023 to return you guys to where Dan had you.

Honest question. Does either team want to actually win the egg bowl? Or do they want their coach fired

I honestly don't know. Both teams want a new coach, but Ole Miss fans were practically giddy Saturday night and Sunday. I went camping all weekend and know more people who sold their MSU tix than any time in recent memory
