Luke is staying put. Heck, with a good APR, Ole Miss likely goes to a bowl this year, which is remarkable.

I think OM boat races State on Thanksgiving. State retains Morehead. Morehead starts off 2-6 or so next year and is fired. Damage done - back to square one for State. Meanwhile, OM, led by JRP, is about to real off 3 consecutive 8+ win seasons...and then sign Arch Manning.

very good question, and the honest answer is, I don't know. On one hand I hate losing to UM and Joe might be able to turn it around (although there are no signs of life in him). On the other hand let's cut the cord now and move on.

I am a State fan. And every bit of social media I looked at yesterday was covered in Ole Miss excitement.
And the 4 floors of lawyers in my building were eaten up with it this morning. Giddy wasn't an exaggeration.
Is it an outlier? Probably. Level heads will prevail, I'm sure
