Currently there are 24 players rated as 5* in the SEC East division. Schools with those players on roster:
UGA: 22
UT: 2
Everyone else: 0
UGA: 22
UT: 2

Will more than likely finish last in the East

Still, it’s been 1980 when UGA has won a national championship. Talk about underachieving. Welp.

OP is inaccurate.
First, UGA has no where near that many. Not if you are talking just composite 5 stars.
Second, UT had between 4-6 five star recruits. Four composite five stars (Trey Smith, Aubrey Solomon, Darnell Wright, Wanya Morris) and another couple guys who were five stars on one site or another (DeAngelo Gibbs and I believe either Crouch or Tootoo).
Plus, I think SCar has a five star, but I can't quite remember. ETA: Yes, SCar has Zacch Pickens on the roster, at top ten national recruit just this past year.
OP making things up, basically.

Hey, since y’all are the only real contender to dethrone Bama in the conference, I approve. Somebody’s gotta do it. For the good of sport in general.

And uga still won’t win a championship

Doesn't matter. You will still lose to LSU and/or Bama.

When you don’t win the East this year threads like this are going to be salt in the wound.

There is nobody in the East who is close to UGA at the moment. 2018 average score with a down roster compared to this coming year was 39-18 with the closest game being a two touchdown win.
Every single position on the roster is upgraded talent wise from last year.
That's not to say you can't lose any game if not prepared, but nobody really expects UGA do do anything but sweep the East once again.

Wasn't making things up. Came from a general CFB podcast. I think he did a bit of Jujitsu to come up with his stat, but the actual number is still something like 16 out of 21 (or 17 out of 22) in the East.
Still pretty staggering.
