Another prediction (this time from Rivals) of Arik to VOLS.
Still got a gnarly feeling UGA may end up with DW and Bama will swoop in and get Arik.
Still also hoping that Neidermeyer will do his magic on DW, especially since we apparently have the last visit with DW.
This season will have a lot to do with our class this year. Hopefully Pruitt can pull 8 or 9 dubs out of his arse.

re: What’s your favorite College Football theme song?

BCS ABC Theme
The old BCS theme on ABC starts at 35 seconds at the link above and it is the GOAT.

I hate UGA, but if Kirby keeps recruiting like he is, UGA will almost have to try to not accidentally win a title sometime in the next 3 or 4 years.
re: What was the best upset your team pulled off

1928 over Bama. The game that showed two teams could play in the South. lol
1985 blowing out Miami in the Sugar Bowl.
2001 over Florida should have won us the SEC but we forgot that LSU had Saban and we had Chavis' dumb arse.

re: Are you satisfied with your teams recruiting class
Posted by 4thQuarterAndButch on 8/17/19 at 11:09 pm
Tennessee's class is going to depend heavily on what kind of progress we show this year (and i'm bullish on it, but i'm also a biased fan).
As things stand now, we would at least be a hat on the table for five composite five-star cruits, which is pretty great for a team that went 5-7 last year, but we will see in December/February.
Not too worried about the recruiting with Pruitt as long as the wins are on schedule.

re: Most impactful true freshman this season for your team?

Henry To'o To'o is allegedly THAT dude. Already running with the ones, even with returning starters at that position. Pruitt supposedly coveted him more than any other recruit.
Wanya Morris and Darnell Wright are likely to be starting at tackle by season's end also.
Warren Burrell and Quavaris Crouch are also putting heat on starters.

re: NFL coaches and executives rank Aaron Rodgers as the best QB in the NFL
Posted by 4thQuarterAndButch on 7/23/19 at 9:55 pm
Rodgers, Brady, and Brees combined have 5 MVPs and 6 first-team All-Pro selections.
Peyton Manning, no one, and no one, have 5 MVPs and 7 first-team All-Pro selections.
Baaaaaaah

re: How long does Kirby get to win a national championship?
Posted by 4thQuarterAndButch on 7/20/19 at 8:27 pm
I'd be surprised if Fromm didn't come back for 2020. And UGA is going to be so loaded the next two years, talent-wise, that you wonder if UGA fans might start to turn a bit if they don't win a championship the next couple years.
Hopefully they don't because only then will their recruiting hopefully start to slow down a bit.

I'm not too young but Chris Johnson for a couple years was up there.
re: Aaron Murray on JOX talking about the Fairley game
Posted by 4thQuarterAndButch on 7/18/19 at 8:42 pm
I hate UGA and I remember wanting UGA to chop Fairley's knees in half that game.
That was maybe the most unlikeable SEC Team ever with Cam and that punk Fairley.

You have this same thread ready to go at the conclusion of basketball season and baseball season every year.
I've never seen a poster so proud of living up to the redneck stereotype of not caring about sports, just cow-ludge footbaw paw.

OP is inaccurate.
First, UGA has no where near that many. Not if you are talking just composite 5 stars.
Second, UT had between 4-6 five star recruits. Four composite five stars (Trey Smith, Aubrey Solomon, Darnell Wright, Wanya Morris) and another couple guys who were five stars on one site or another (DeAngelo Gibbs and I believe either Crouch or Tootoo).
Plus, I think SCar has a five star, but I can't quite remember. ETA: Yes, SCar has Zacch Pickens on the roster, at top ten national recruit just this past year.
OP making things up, basically.

Most on here melting aren't complaining about brevity/things being rushed.
They're melting about the plot results themselves.
Better not read the books then.

It's obviously his ending based on everything we know about his world philosophy. Not to mention he's the executive producer. In the video, he talks about going over the ending with D and D and how there may be "some differences in some minor/secondary characters." I don't think Bran is a secondary character.
Melt away.

There is one All-Pro Selection between the three of them in like 25 combined years of playing.
None of them should get in but the NFL universe has determined that being on a Super Bowl winning team is the ultimate quarterback accomplishment so Eli will probably get in.

BRUCE Clowned Retirment Rick Twice With Championships On The Line
Posted by 4thQuarterAndButch on 3/17/19 at 8:21 pm
That's the reality. We had the most Rick Barnes-ish season possible.
More wins in the regular season and tournament combined than any other SEC team but neither a reg. season or tournament title to show for it. Bruce is a way better in-game coach than Retirement Rick.
We have a good draw but I'm not holding out hope considering Rick's Tournament resume.
Sucks, and a bittersweet season considering the expectations.
