We're y'all planning on throwing it anyway? I'm not sure every defensive lineman in the league deserves an INT

Who said he did?

You said he chose Tua over Hurts. The only apple to apple comparison to look at is UGA 2018 and Bama 2017.

Also, he was terrible because of Auburn’s talented defense.

Totally beside the point, not to mention he struggled passing often vs good D's, yet he stuck by Hurts in 2017.

Tua started over Jalen Hurts in 2018

Which never happens without the stroke of luck I speak of. Tua leaves Bama before he is named starter without that stroke.

Saban started Tua in the 2nd half of the 2017 National Title game.

Hurts started every game in 2017. Saban made that decision every single game. Saban cost Bama the Iron Bowl, a shot at the SECC, and a certain playoff invite.

Tua came off the bench in the most desperate of situations. A situation very few teams are lucky enough to be in. A situation that enabled Bama to keep Tua from transferring. No lucky playoff invite = Tua transfers. No Hurts being terrible vs UGA = Tua transfers.

What happened in 2018 is irrelevant to the discussion.

that is debatable. He barely showed up quite often........when he wasn't suspended

Da fuk are you talking about? He
was our leading WR last year as
true freshman. One of the hardest positions for any freshman to make an impact

He's been suspended for all of one half and there isn't one credible source saying he's missing the UF because of a disciplinary issues. He's been hurt since Bama and was questionable for the game already.

It is if you care about apples to apples. Neither Fields and Tua started a game as freshmen. Their head coaches thought Hurts and Fromm were better. Both were unhappy as backups. Both wanted to transfer as backups. Thats where the oranges come in.

Given the rumors leading up to NSD a few years ago, I was overly pissed when he flipped.

I can’t say I’m the least bit mad at this point.

Well you're gonna get him back into the family!

and he promptly came in and was ejected for fighting.

ETA which meant he was suspended for the first half of the SECCG.

WR and RB are arguably the most common (easiest) positions for highly talented true freshman to make an impact.

Is this really a big "I told you so" about 'em?

He was a big contributor to us last year and helped us win. Unfortunately dinged up this year.
Even if he never plays another down he was well worth the scholarship.

He didn't start the scuffle with the GT player BTW and was a slap fight compared to the UF/Mizzou brawl.

Just don't get why you're jizzing all over yourself when you hear a shred of bad news about em.

RB yes but complete horseshite regarding WR.

Name one LSU WR from last year's team that made an significant impact as freshman.

How bout Bama's WR's last year?
This year? What type of impact did they make as freshman? Waddle is the only they made a significant impact.

WR is infinitely harder to grasp than RB...not even remotely close.

Look a Jaden Haselwood last year.#1 prospect in Georgia and #5 overall and couldn't beat out an expirenced walk-on WR at OU.Devonta Smith,Jerry
Jeudy,Ja'Marr Chase...how'd they do their freshman year?

One catch does not make a season even as impactful as it was.

Final Freshman stats:

8 catches,160 yards,3 TD's

No, injuries to our LB corp had more to do with Alabama losing to AU in 17...we couldn’t stop the run to save our arse. missing the SECCG and having time to heal had everything to do with us winning out.

All the more reason to bench Hurts, but Saban didnt do it. Yall could have overcome that with a QB who could throw like Tua.
