Put the pads on yesterday I believe, today was a JR Day and recruits were watching practice.

2014 S Nick Glass tweeted "Crowell out here laying folks out"

Soon thereafter, 2013 ILB Ben Boulware tweeted "Alec Ogletree bodyslams Isiah Crowell. Then continuously punches his face into the ground"

At least we aren't soft anymore.

ETA: A couple more from Boulware

"Been at this practice only an hour and there's been at least 3 fights"

"Isiah Crowell literally gets in a fight every play"

Did Richt forget the "missing man's" birthday or something? Sounds like he had a bad day.

Rich should have suspended him half the season this year, referring to crowell. It wouldn't hurt the team much as a whole and may knock some sense into him. Crowell is not well liked by the team at UGA and it sounds like it is showing.

This thread is as informative as Hunter's news breaking "Nick Saban speaks to high school coaches." Is there such thing as a spring practice not gettin' chippy ?

I'm with TT on this one. Can be good and bad, he's certainly not shying away from contact and Ogletree is the last guy on the team I'd want to scrap with.

Or they just blatantly disrespect him.

I disagree and say its all bad. A tough HB, both physically and mentally gets his arse hit and pops right back up, showing his opponent he is not affected by him. A bitch like Crowell gets hit and shows his arse as if he is frustrated that a LB would actually hit him that hard.

If the players are tweeting from practice this pretty much sums up the problem with Richt and Georgia football. Surely to God they do not have their fricking cell phones at practice.

The players aren't tweeting- the recruits are.
