Listed with the sports you feel are the closest to achieving this at the top with the most futile being at the bottom.
We have 7 sports if my math is correct. 3 on the men's side and 4 on the women's.
Baseball - Ranked #1 - so close yet so far
Women's Lacrosse - Ranked #3 and beat the #2 team on the road Tuesday
Women's Volleyball - Finished in the final 8 (perennial top 10)
Men's Tennis - Normally ranked but rarely crack the top 10
Men's Cross Country - Perennial dog but have a new coach
Women's Cross Country - Same as men's team
Women's Basketball - Perennial dog but getting better

The LSU chess team looks dominant this year. One of the players in on a 15 chess game winning streak.

Does Florida have an equestrian team?

Still is as much of an official NCAA sport as quidditch.

I really can't believe that LSU hasn't won a national title in basketball considering all the talent that has come and gone.

We claim 1935 but it is one of the most bullshite claims in the history of college athletics.

As a Bama fan, I have no comment on BS claims.

Florida will always have a tough time recruiting elite long distance runners. I grew up in central Florida, and it's not a great climate for that sport.

Those are the two I want to see more than any other. Though I'm curious which sports we compete that we haven't won a title.

We could claim 1930 for basketball based on some poll called Premo-Porretta.

Texas A&M has National Championships in 8 sports!
Football
Men's and Women's Outdoor T&F
Men's Golf
Softball
Volleyball
Women's basketball
Equestrian
Hopefully, they add Baseball and Women's Swimming to that mix this year.

Alabama Baseball. 2 time runner ups. One loss was to LSU in 97
Basketball will never win a championship. If we ever make the final four, that would be a miracle

I'll have to remember that next time I'm screwing with an imbecile.

I figured you'd have won a few cornhole championships. Or is that not a recognized sport yet?

I wasn't aware of that. I would have thought it is a great climate for it.

Gator volleyball will break your heart more often than Georgia football.
