What is the worse local sports talk show in each state?

In MS I think it is easy, BO Bounds show.

WJOX in Birmingham used to have good morning show, and then the guys defected to making a podcast instead.

Now we're stuck with Cole Cubelic and Greg McElroy.

680 is garbage now except for Chuck and Chernoff.

I was going to delete the JOX app until this show began airing.

Might be too technical Xs and Os for the average Walmart t-shirt Alabama fan, but I enjoy it.

Cole is great

McElroy is a condescending prick that has a hatred for Alabama.

The Next Round is still good, just have to do a little more work to get it.

They aren’t terrible. Really need a good radio guy to run the show and free those guys up to just give insight and opinion.

The jox lunch time show and the Huntsville market local shows are really bad.

Barry McKnight and John Longshore on 740AM in Montgomery is better than anything on JOX. Also, Doug Amos and Charlie Trotman on 107.5 in Montgomery is an awesome show. Sports radio is where Montgomery shines.

I honesty wish we had a regular SEC technical show like that (anywhere).

A friend of mine who happens to be a Florida State fan turned me on to one that they did down there (maybe in Tallahassee, IDK) several years ago where they broke down plays after each game and it was fascinating.

My problem with Cole and Greg are their terrible radio personas, not their overall knowledge. I respect them, I just don't like listening to them.

Agree on all points.

Mobile luckily has two sports stations now. WNSP, the older one, brought in some yankee who is more interested in Red Sox/Yankees/Syracuse than the SEC. Then they have Lee Shervanian who has been on the station since the 90s and doesnt know anyone's name in sports and loves discussing the NY Knicks

The other station is great

I enjoy Matt McClearin. He is funny, and is generally likeable.

When I had to work in ATL over the summer, I listened to those guys, and they are ok, they just think that they are funnier and wittier than they really are.

Houston sports talk totally sucks. Unbearable. 92% Texans. Very little else. Texans minutae to the nth degree. Sports talk in Houston 15 years ago was awesome. Just pathetic.

680?

I'd say their primary focus is CFB and the Braves...not much NFL at all

92.9 might be different but I don't listen to them.

Bulldog Brunch on WSB with Dantzler and Butler is probably the best sports talk but obviously on once a week and only during the fall.
