Wow, this is a lot worse than originally expected. At least 2 year bowl ban and probably 10 more scholarships.

I personally think the dumbest thing OM hasn't done is fire Kiffin. Bama and LSU have recently fired assistants for MUCH less. It helps get the NCAA off your back. Just stupid...Freeze is playing with fire with that shite.

If Ole Miss fires anyone else before the NCAA hands down a punishment this thing is just going to look worse. What bothers me is the fact that Bjork and Freeze have both made public appearances, defending the program and the recruiting tactics 100%. Either this is all being blown out of proportion or Bjork and Freeze are fricking delirious morons who don't deserve to ever work in collegiate sports again.

I know I wouldn't be happy if I was "working" with a team on their sanctions, believing that I was told everything............them have new stuff pop up like it did. Especially if the stepdad had told them about those situations but OM said he was lying.
Might make me reinvestigate everything stepdad said in that 100 hours worth of interviews. As for the team that straight up lied "again", might not be much mercy shown.

Weren't they already on probation or just coming off when all that happened? I would think that plays into it a little, don't you?

I would bet at least 20 of the hours spent with the NCAA were with Miller sucking someone's dick. Probably why they went to the car. It's obvious all he is looking for is money and will do anything to get it.

OK, for those that keep saying that the NCAA helped draft the rebuttal to the NOA and therefore they will not increase the penalties:
1. The enforcement staff and those involved in the investigations are not the same people that actually deliver the final punishment.
2. OM's response did not even cover the bare minimums provided by the new enforcement policy guideline. If you go through the new criteria and count up each separate violation and match it to the new NCAA violations matrix you will notice that this is way under representing the expected severity of penalties.
3. The response is expected to be in the ballpark of what the penalties should be, but the NCAA rarely accepts the proposed penalties when it includes Level 1 violations.
