The thread about which coach wins a title first had a glaring omission in Mullen IMO.

They brought it up on the radio and it is a good question. So how would Kirby be viewed by UGA fans if Mullen were to win a title before Kirby? How much more time would he get to go win one?

This is an honest question and I'm not trying to stir the UGA pot. Monken being hired could possibly push UGA over the hump imo. I think Mullen is the better coach. Kirby has the better talent. So if Mullen won a title before Kirby, how long of a leash does Kirby get before being bounced out of Athens?

Georgia is loading up on 5 star talent. They better win something or Kirby ain't their guy.

I don't know honestly... UGA fans used to be a laid back bunch, happy with a 10 win season... They have become pretty rabid lately...

Maybe it will happen and we can see the result...

It would be bad, but I don't think UF has the kind of players necessary to win a national title. Their roster is ok but not on the level of LSU, UGA, Bama, Clemson, or OSU, and they'd likely have to beat 1-2 of those in a row to win it all.

Kirby will get 10 years pretty much no matter what. He is a uga player and they would all blow him if given the chance right now. If he doesnt have a championship after 10 though, they will start to turn on him.

UGA should have won 2 national titles by now. They are past due. In their defense Bama blocked their title by beating them with Tua’s throw in overtime. Kirby needs to be laser focused on winning one. They have the potential

If Kirby keeps a good record against Auburn, UGA fans won't care.

They’ve done it twice. CJ Mosley’s tipped pass in 2012 and Tua’s toss in 2017. Both split my soul.

Georgia is going to go down in history as the Chicago Cubs of college football. The Cubs prior to their 2016 WS of course.

Kirby was playing 2009 football in 2019. He'll continue to do that. Georgia will stay the same.

It would be catastrophic but it doesnt even enter the realm of possibilities.

What was Mullen playing when he lost to Kirby three straight years?

Mullen is a terrible coach that Kirby completely owns...but whatever. UF is not recruiting at a national championship level.

Possibly 3 with Hurts comeback in 2018 SECCG. UGA would have at least had a chance.

Those other two were pretty much definite though.

He was playing losing football, which is why he won’t win a natty.

Kirby destroyed Mullens best MSU team in year two has a hc, he has beaten him every time they play and Mullen was a horrific game day coach at this years WLOCP. Mullen being some great coach is fake news propagated by UF and MSU desperation.

Mullen has only been at UF two years. Factoring in a MS State loss to Georgia is just stupid.

When Mullen gets his talent right, Florida will own Georgia. It's just a matter of time.
