Who has more titles from 2016 to now?

Obviously, the talent level is somewhat of a wash since both recruit well and both met in the title game in 2017 and Alabama prevailed in a close game.

I'm going with Saban all day.

Just curious what everyone thinks.

I know there are a couple of Bammers here who insist Kirby @ Bama > Saban @ UGA because "Alabama is Alabama."

They likely both only have one a piece right now. Saban winning his in 2017 and Kirby winning his in 2020.

Who's to say Kirby hires Sark?

Also doubtful that Saban runs Justin Fields off.

I imagine he handles Fields as a freshman the same way he handled Tua as a freshman.Zero regular season starts.

Nobody "ran off" Fields.

Fair point. But the correct answer is Saban. Especially since UGA finally started opening its checkbook that year.

Fields went to a school with an equal talent level in an easier conference.

didn't win a title.

I like the kid, and think he will do well in the NFL, but he was not the missing piece to a national title run. If he was OSU would be your 2 time defending champs.

Saban @ any Top 10-15 school > anybody anywhere else over a 10 year period.

Saban has struggled enough vs Kirby to make this far from the landslide it will expectedly be.

Let me make this very clear…

Alabama made Saban, Saban didn’t make Alabama. We had 12 before he got here.

Evidence of starting hurts in every 2017 game says otherwise.
