Told my son, “I don’t know why I’m so nervous”.

ETA: seemed like every pitch was important.

Got dayum. The dude pitched the entire game and was striking out batters at over 100 pitches. What a performance.

Shores/Evans/Cowan

We have our best three arms besides Anderson and Eyanson who are fresh.

Agreed. Well, except for the umps who have sent several guys and pitchers (on both teams) back to the dugout shaking their heads. The consistently awful umpiring is so damn frustrating.

One of these three is not like the other two. I'll let you figure out which one..

This times 1000. I wasn’t going to do a post-game umpire bitch session, as it’s probably more of a mid-week discussion. And Eyanson’s performance deserves the spotlight tonight.

But all of these teams deserve better.

The SEC should set the standard for umpires and officiating yet here we are. Let’s brag about how much the TV deal is again.

Agreed great series so far. I just wish the umpiring was better (both ways). However, this series deserves to be 1-1 right now based on on field performance. Good shite. Tomorrow will be fun!
