Serious question.

If LSU loses to UCLA and goes 7-5, is Orgeron on the hot seat?

Hell yeah. I think he'd be lucky to make it to 2022 if that happened.

A$M hasnt won 11 games in 10 years. Plus breaking in a new qb also 247 sports has LSU playing in a new year six, so we will see.

It’ll be funny in a few months when it’s determined that A&M was the most overrated team going into the year

Everybody laughed last year when people had then in the preseason Top 10 (this board especially) and they finished with 1 loss to the undefeated national champions and in the Top 10.

So, maybe. Maybe not.

Tennessee at 7-5? I mean no insult with this and I guess you could argue everyone transferring is addition by subtraction but wow.

Personally I'd definitely have Tennessee behind Kentucky and Missouri, but it's hard for a formula to quantify "decent recruits, zero growth, another new coach, program doesn't know how to win".

Nah, they ain't losing to ETSU. And UConn is a bigger and worse dumspter fire than Vandy is right now.

I bet my pontoon boat Ole Miss doesn't win 10 or more games.

Agree - they have 2-3 games against teams that are basically ranked right around them. They just happen to be barely the highest. LSU is basically the opposite end of the spectrum.

If you applied % chance to win to games then they'd probably end up at 9-3 or so (maybe 8-4).

Fair enough. You know more than I do.

When was the last time they went winless (besides last year)?

I just thought that looked crazy. They also have Kentucky losing to Louisville which is just baffling given the state Louisville is in.

I simply do not see Tennessee making a bowl this coming year. Seeing a projection for 7-5 is absurd to me. 5-7 is more believable.

If their other 2 non-conference games were like Kent State and Memphis I'd 100% agree they could go 0-12. They just lucked into a FCS game against a middling program and possibly the worst program in FBS.

Last year was their first winless season in program history, incredibly. They have won at least 2 games every season since the 1992 expansion (except last year).

2 wins - 1995, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010

3 wins - 1997, 2000, 2014, 2019

I still don’t get the Ole Miss hype

I see 8-4 at best for them

State goes 7-5
