I'm sorry but that article is WAAAAYYYY too myopic for my taste. And yes, I understand it is their job to motivate their existing fanbase. It's slanted worse than Al Jazeera TV.

3 out of 11 get drafted. That's a damn good percentage. I understand there is a good percentage of drop outs too, but that's as much SP's fault as UM's.

This is a post from the 247 website in response to this article. Bundy linked a trash article, but that doesn't mean all State fans are butthurt.

Don't know if you were trying to quote me, but I didn't say this.

Never said that either. I guess it's always shite articles like this and the garbage rumors that are always circulating that usually derive from Gene's page that just draw a lot of attention.

The sad part is these high school students are still being pressured into playing for a losing team when they rather be somewhere else.

I copied this from the link......

Show me one area of the country where this doesn't happen.

Bundy are you trying to say all the non qualifiers that Mullens recruited would qualify at State?

All of the USP kids who have signed with State have qualified and most have qualified.

Fwiw, al jazeera, or at least al jazeera English is the most solid place for news from the middle east

It's news not commentary...when I look for news in that part of the world I always go there or Russia Today

Pegues is the only one I can think of. It was pretty interesting to see Nick Brassel "commit" to State and then he started catching a bunch of shite for it so he backed out of the commitment. At least that's how I remember it happening.

that's what is absolutely hilarious.....3 out of 11 really is a damned good percentage.

Whoever wrote that article is trying WAY too hard to the point of it being counter-productive.
