You and I both know that LSU going to Nashville isn't really a road game. There were more LSU fans in the stadium than Vandy fans. It's always like that when a major college program plays in that stadium.

South Carolina fans actually show up for their home games because a fan base for the Gamecocks actually exists, unlike Vanderbilt.

Yeah, but at least we have the excuse of our defense is half true freshman. Lucky for you they will have 8 games of starting experience by the time they play LSU

Hmmmm.

I guess we could play that card too since 5 or 6 defensive starters haven’t played in games other than Texas, but I’m not really big on excuses.

Both defenses need to get better.

I'll give him 300, but 400 is just absurd

All depends on how many plays they run and how many times he throws

Long way away, but I'd expect Burrow to hit some big plays, so his YPA would be somewhere around 8-9 YPA.

So, if he throws 40 times, that's somewhere around 350 yards.

Hilinski had 324 passing on Bama. You’re crazy if you think Burrow doesn’t get more.

Are you stupid?
This is a serious question.

This tells me you aren’t paying attention.
I can’t help it that you haven’t bothered to be observant.

Do you think Saban will have a Defensive game plan to focus on Burrow or not?

Do you think Saban had a Defensive plan that focused on Hilinski?

Does the transitive property work well in college football?

It’s not just Burrow. The offense is like water. Choose to pressure one area and it moves to the lower pressure. LSU has 5 receivers who are a mismatch for most CBs and safeties, and every LB. Blitz and cover man on the back end, the middle of the field is open behind the blitz. Zone leaves 2-3 mismatches. Get pressure with front 4 and drop the rest into man, there are still mismatches and JB can escape to the outside, likely with a RB available shallow or to block for him.

This offense forces you to pick your poison.

Apparently to some it always will, because we heard the same thing when Alabama had 31 scored on them by Arkansas last year. It still didn't turn out well for LSU or anyone else that year.

I'm gonna laugh if LSU puts up less yardage.

I'll take that bet. He's gonna throw well north of 300 yards.
