I mean we're starting 5 true freshman. We've been bracing for disaster on defense all year so far. We're just praying they get a little better and more confident over the next month or so.
And while they looked disjointed against Carolina the first unit only gave up 1 TD and 2 FGs. The vanilla scheme and don't give up the big play D is hard to watch but we're a pretty good red zone D with our secondary guys.

You’re not likely to see the backup qb who threw the pick six.

We’re kinda in the same boat, a bunch of starters are out with injuries/team rules violations that we expect back either by the Florida game or Auburn game.

So the Defense gave up 24. The back up QB threw a pick 6. How were the other points scored

Fumble into the EZ. Someone thought it would be a good idea to get conservative down there and run 3 straight run plays. Hope they don’t make that mistake again. I’m sure Joe Brady had his “I told you so, leave the offense to me” moment.

Yea, they need to leave the guy alone. He's shown that he knows what he's doing

Carolina had 459 yards but they had to run 86 plays to get it. They only had 4 plays > 20 yards the whole game.
Dink, dink, dunk, dunk. Infuriating to watch, but hard to replicate in the red zone.

Bama gave them a bunch of first downs too. Penalties were bad

I guess you have to resort to dickriding bama since a&m is going 7-5 this year

I believe both defenses will be better by Nov. For once I’m not dreading the game.

Over 300 yards.
That would be a hell of a defensive performance considering we're going to have to throw it 60 times to hold serve against Bama going up against our defense.
Average Joe got over 5 ypa against Bama's much better 2018 defense.

Joey Touchdown will torch that Bama secondary

hilinski threw for 324 yards and 2 TD’s. burrow is doing that in his sleep

We are actually going to run the ball after bama schemes expecting us to throw 40 times, everyone thinks it's going to be 50-40, it will be 10-7.

So Bama gave up fewer points to a better team.
Debatable. Neither S.C. nor Vandy is very good. While S.C. is probably slightly better, Vanderbilt has already played 2 top 5 teams to S.C.’s one. S.C.’s only win is against Charleston Southern. Vandy has played 3 P5 teams. S. C., 2. But bottom line, there is no great difference in the two teams. But we do know that LSU’s offense scored 19 points more than Bama, and had a larger margin of victory. None of it means much at this point other than both defenses have work to do. What seems to be evident is that Georgia’s defense is better than either LSU’s or Bama’s at this point in the season. But both LSU and Bama are probably better offensively than Georgia.

I don't know, man. We finally have a coach (Brady) I believe is dying to get 2 weeks to scheme a passing game plan against Bama.

Amazing eh, let's see what Burrow can do against this defense.
I'll permaban bet anyone that he won't come close to those numbers.

Honestly that’s on par with Burrow’s numbers in the first QUARTER of games so far. He won’t likely do as much per quarter against Alabama, but I’m guessing it’ll be around 400 for the game. Since he will probably stay in the whole game, it may well be a lot more. I also expect Tua to throw for around 400.
