YouTube of national anthem

At 3:18, you can hear a fan break the moment of silence by yelling "Go to hell, Bin Laden".

I was a student at State at the time and attended that game. That was the beginning of the end for Jackie Sherril

A rare matchup...a ranked SC and a rank Ms State meeting in a football game.

I was at the game as well. I stopped off in MS to visit my parents on my way from LA to NY. I was supposed to go to NYC on the 12th, but all flights were grounded. I couldn't even get back to LA for a couple of weeks. My Dad and brother (Ole Miss fans) and I drove down to the game from Oxford because we thought it was important to show the world that America was still going to do American things.

That was Jackie Sherrill's daughter singing the national anthem.

I was in Kosovo at the time and had to stay up til 4am to watch on armed forces network. I cringed when JWS's daughter sang the national anthem. I still can't listen to her sing it all these years later.

That season sucked so bad. Lost 4 games by 3 points or less and lost to Bama by a TD.

Msu finished 3-9 that year. South Carolina finished 9-3. Complete opposites lol. SC won that game 16-13 for the record.
