Funny how time and attitudes about things can change. When it came to drinking and driving I don't think there was a day in the 80’s where I didn't and I was far from alone.

For what it's worth I do think you guys so dead set against it are right. It really is dangerous and irresponsible, I just got lucky and never hurt anyone though I banged myself up some once

Rumored to have been one of several DUI arrests....if so he is lucky to only get 6 months. There is no excuse for habitually driving under the influence. It can happen once by accident to an immature person but and adult ought to know better and after the second any further incidents should be treated as seriously as any crime because the outcome is not going to come out well in many cases. Hopefully Lou will use the time to address the drinking problem....probably not but for the safety of the rest of us hopefully.

One mistake, I can see, even twice over a period of stupid. We were all young and stupid at some point in our lives for the most part. Some longer than others.
That said, there is no reason someone who has been cuffed 5 times for DUI should still be walking around free to commit that fifth one.

At the very leaast they ought not have a drivers license in their wallet and if they do they ought to be subject to continual oversite, at their expense, that allows them limited driving privileges to and from work only. There really is not excuse for multiple DUIs. One is bad enough but can happen to a person when young and, as long as no one is injured that should come with enough penalty to make them regret it forever. The second one should mean some jail time not just weekends and any subsequent ones should result in serious consequences and come with some serious monitoring at the drunks expense.

I grew up in the 1970s and started driving in the late 70's. Some folks did indeed drink and drive as a regular habit but decent folks knew even than it was a bad idea and only low life losers did intentionally. That being said I had a LOT of low life losers in my family when would have been shocked to know it wasn't normal to have a cooler of beer iced down in the back seat on a road trip or a couple in the truck when running errands...thank goodness there is at least more lip service paid to this being a bad idea today because there is NO excuse and if someone does it and takes an innocent life or cripples someone they should be treated like the common criminal they are.

Kirby and UGA are an absolute shite show:

We warned y’all UGA would be the worst group to win it all. They are the worst fanbase in the nation.

Yes, he needs to get it together. Nothing wrong with some drinks, just be where you are gonna be or can get home without getting behind the wheel. My sister was hit by a DD and has had 12 surgeries, can't use her left arm and her kneecap was found outside the wreckage so she has a knee made of the muscle from her quad. She broke her legs in 9 different places and can only walk so far. my niece was also in the car and suffered a lacerated liver, broken pelvis and broken arm. You can understand why I have no use for this POS. All of his shite talking aside, he's an irresponsible human.

With Uber and Lyft, I don't understand how people still drive under the influence.

Trust me. Your life is so much better not knowing. In terms of life experiences you would be much better served stepping in a pile of fresh dog crap barefooted.

Im not familiar with his arrest record but knowing DUI laws in Ga he's had a lot of DUI arrests to get a 6 month jail sentence. Dude needs to seek help before he kills an innocent person
