He was also an Iran fan - Paid them well.

Now back to the issue at hand - He's the POTUS. He can go to any big sporting event he wants. He should be there. Merica

You do realize that Trump bought & owned a franchise and used the USFL to compete against the NFL for several years? Tons of guys like Herschel Walker, Jim Kelly and Bobby Hebert opted to play in the USFL before they ever signed a contract with the NFL.

Right?

What kind of a non sports fan buys an entire effing Sports Franchise? LOL

Regardless of politics, the POTUS attending your game should be considered an honor. Could be worse. You could be an Iraqi soccer player playing in front of Udei Hussein.

Trumpf is a selfish a-hole

With existing crowds plus the additional security required for a Presidential Security Detail , Trumpf attending the game makes things a lot more difficult for the common man and for fans that were hoping to be able to get the most enjoyment out of the CG

Previous Presidents have intentionally avoided these types of events so they would not make an already crowded event even worse

Trumpf should know better than to muck up everything for those fans that spent so much to attend the game

POTUS should be smart enough to stay away

Good thing the Presidential Motor Cade is not headed to Tiger Stadium or my brethren would rock the limo.

Best get there 4 hours early and bring nothing to the game. When TSA took over at ATL natty game they literally went through wallets piece by piece.

Exactamudo! Same for the LSU/BAMA game. And be prepared to wait in a line that hardly ever moves. But its worth it to see the First Lady!

He's now been to two Alabama games. This will be his second LSU game. Aside from Army/Navy, he's not going to games outside of the south because it would expose him to a non-friendly crowd (see attending the WS game in Washington where he promptly left after being booed).

He also attended a UFC event in NYC recently. Got mostly cheers.

What? TSA had nothing to do with security at the game.It was the Secret Service PD

Nobody went through my wallet "piece by piece" It was nothing more than a typical screening you get at an airport.

I got there 50 mins before KO and waited 20 mins in line.

Oh he was just the biggest sports fan ever. remember when he talked about the “nittily lions”, the “Miami heats”, and growing up in Chicago (which was a lie anyway) watching the White Sox play in “kominsky park”?

Yeah, hell of a sports fan right there.

I never said previous Presidents avoided CGs 100% of the time

OK genius, was terrorism the same in 1981 as it now, do you think security was the same in 1981 as it will be on Jan 13, 2020 with POTUS Attendance

Has the way the United States deals with events with large crowds been same or has the security changed in a post 9-11 world?

All those fans that claim they love Trumpf are gonna wish he kept his azz and his mail order bride at home
