He gone if a true blueblood come calling. Guy thought about leaving for Iowa while he had UT rolling.

If ignorance was bliss you would live in Utopia!
Stallings Championship was tainted due to recruiting violations.
I’m too laid back this morning to address Dubose, Fran, Price, Whimp, Kobe Baker, Bohannon.

Shoo fly!

Coach Dye got the iron bowl moved to Auburn in 1989.... we could spend pages talking about all the good he did for Auburn.

Go for it. Just remember the last page ends with him "retiring" in disgrace.

Ohio State now that would be funny. Ohio State recruit was the reason why Pearl got a show cause. when he was a Tennessee for a BBQ.

Bruce is experiencing it now. Main man on campus. Both teams in the state playing high level ball and top echelon of NCAA. Iron Bowl BB complete sell out in both arenas on a Wed night. Madness!
Currently Auburn has #3 recruiting class in the country for next year, outstanding facilities. Bama has outstanding program and in first place. The SEC is loaded.

I just think the job would be easier in general. Louisville is the better basketball program and it's not even close.

The UK/UL rival is also not even close.

Would a recruit wanna play in HS gym or an NBA ready one?
Does a recruit want to play in a small little town or do they want to play somewhere they aren't easily bored away from family and have to drive to ATL every chance they get to have fun?
Do they want to play against UNC, Duke, UVA at their gyms and get crazy exposure or play against LSU and Georgia in their dump gyms?
Do they won't to play for a program with storied history and has a long list of NBA veterans that they can network with?

A big empty gym vs a gym students camp outside for days to get good seats

Louisville is awful

Now dickriding your rivals

Do they won't to play for a program with storied history and has a long list of NBA veterans that they can network with?
Louisville - 4 NBA players
Auburn - 6 NBA Players

This went poorly for you

No way he leaves Auburn for Louisville or tOSU.

Bruce has nothing to prove as a coach to have to take one of those low-hanging, and downward-trending jobs. He is super. Orange, fat, loud, and sweaty, but a super coach.

Louisville is still paying coaching salaries back to tricky Rick P. Their ticket sales and recruiting are abysmal in an arena that has been losing money for years. Their brand is uber tarnished in the wake of multiple NCAA violations and penalties. It's also a commuter school in the hood.

He was not as happy in Knoxville as he is on the plains.

Bruce owes Auburn and he knows it. They gave him a job when no other program would touch him. He has ingratiated himself into the O&B fabric and he's the best thing to have happened to the Auburn brand in the last 25 yrs. Auburn takes care of him, and his son is rumored to be head-coach-in-waiting. He'd be a fool to jet off to a rebuild job at his age.

He would have laughed the barn delegation out of the room if he hadn't gotten hit with a show cause.
