He's a former Ole Miss staffer that Lane fired and now he's the GM of a car dealership.
A few weeks ago, he was insisting LSU is on probation. A probation period that ended 3 years ago.

Sounds like Kelly probably found a big time coaching job pretty easily
Since anyone can pretty easily see that his greatness was shortchanged. Probably weren't any coaching openings after last season though, just unlucky all around for Kelly I guess. The demand will be huge by the big boys after this season though, im sure of it!

It just sounds like people in and around the program were willing to invest more with Kiffin. Probably the same way everywhere. Cignetti probably has way more than his predecessor. Saban surely more than Shula. The buy-in to the program depends on the speculation of how the new coach will do.
