According to an article in 24/7, LSU was third in NIL resources prior to the 2025 season at $20.1mil. Texas was the top team at $22.5mil and Ohio State was second at $20.2mil.
Kelly's problem in 2025 wasn't lack of resources relative to other schools. Additionally, this original Tweet does not consider the context. Yeah, losing to Ole Miss wasn't great, but we got road-graded by Vandy. Vandy!
To get rid of him, LSU had to go all in. In record amounts. Either it will work or it won't, and neither of us know which for sure at this point.
